Here
is a company that sells products and provides a host of information
and anecdotes for female cyclists: www.teamestrogen.com

The divine Crystal Waters of girlbike.com fame has revived her gallery of pink bicycles and created a web site of their very own. You can view them and submit yours here at www.pinkbikesite.com.
WOMBATS was begun by the original mountain biking diva, Jacquie
Phelan, who has probably had more influence on the sport than
any other woman. WOMBATS (Women's Mountain Biking and Tea
Society) is a national coalition of women who love to ride,
be free, and empower each other through the graceful art of
hurling themselves down mountains. Check them out at www.wombats.org.
Evelyn Egizi and friends run this absolutely
solid women's (and men, by invitation!) cycling team based
in the D.C. area. Luna Cycles is proud to have been affiliated
with them a few years back, and we still think they rock.
Check out www.artemisracing.org.
Lorri Lown started and runs this rather
huge women's cycling team, club, web site, means of access
to all things wonderful in the world of cycling for women.
She likes pink a lot. She also rides a LUNA! Check out her
life and work at www.velogirls.com.
Michelle Theall has supported women athletes
since...a long, long time ago. A former editor at Women's
Sports & Fitness magazine, she decided the revive
a much-needed publication: a magazine for women who love being
OUTSIDE. She also has become an inspiration and role model
for those dealing with the relentless challenges of Multiple
Sclerosis. Check out Women's Adventure Magazine here: www.womensadventuremagazine.com.
Of course, it is essential to pay homage
to the woman who first acknowledged and addressed the special
needs of female cyclists, Georgena Terry. Check out her company
at www.terrybicycles.com.
